Who is this workshop suitable for: * This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. * It’s beneficial for anyone who wants to explore their creativity in depth. * Anyone who wants to overcome artistic blockages. * Anyone who wants to find their authentic creative voice. * Anyone who needs to release stress and enjoy a warm, emotional, and calming atmosphere with like-minded and supportive artists. * This workshop is an opportunity for a deep self-discovery through art. * Anyone who wants to bring more positivity into their life What to expect and our process: - Guided Meditation: We will begin with a guided meditation that will help you quiet the mind, release judgment, and connect with the feelings and sensations present in your body. - Positive Affirmations Card Deck - Everyone will have an option to draw one or more cards from a deck of cards meant to spark your imagination and replace negative thoughts with empowering affirmations. - Intuitive Flow: You will be gently led into the painting session, using colors and shapes. You will have the opportunity to experiment with textures. - Creative Release: You will be encouraged to use the canvas as a mirror for your inner world, allowing your feelings to manifest in vibrant, abstract forms that can later transition to fantasy, surrealistic, or abstract art. Materials Provided: * Mixed media cotton canvas 12x16 in * Palettes * Cups * Stencils for creating textures * Sponges for creating textures Materials to bring: * Your favorite choice of medium - watercolor paint set, acrylic, or oil paints. You can bring more than one medium and create mixed media art. * Brushes of your choice * palette knives * gloves - if you would like to try painting with fingers I am excited to meet you and paint with you!
